RHI - Competence For The Cement Industry

Ever since refractory bricks were used in rotary kilns in the cement industry, the brands of Veitscher, Radex and Didier have contributed significantly to guarantee optimum lining quality and secure production. These brands gained a worldwide reputation and became synonymous with top quality. RHI roots reach back more than 150 years, when Didier was founded in 1824. Since then, numerous pioneering inventions had been achieved by the independent companies, until a series of mergers paved the way for the formation of RHI business unit Cement and Lime.

Under the umbrella of RHI these companies´ worldwide reknown brands-amongst them ANKRAL, REXAL, RUBINAL, ANKO, UREX, RESISTAL and MAXIAL , to name only some-continued to be state-of-the-art during the last ten years throughout many of the industry´s leading companies. RHI business unit Cement and Lime constantly improves existing and develops new products in one of the world´s largest research and development centres for refractories, the Technology Center, located in Leoben, Austria.

RHI presents itself in a different way with a considerably streamlined product range, featuring several new products and a variety of improvements across the wide range of products available. From the three well known product lines-Veitscher, Radex and Didier-we took out and kept the best to offer our customers a comprehensive range of products covering for any kind of kiln and operating conditions. Some products have been superceded by newly developed once or eliminated / renamed to obtain a product range today´s marketplace is requiring.
